Getting Here
The Bonneville Discovery Trails are located roughly 35 miles east of the Portland/Vancouver metro area off of State Highway 14 on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge.
Look for the Chevron service station and a community welcome sign immediately south of the Highway.
- From Portland Oregon
Take I-84 East to exit 44 Cascade Locks. Follow signs to the Bridge of the Gods toll bridge ($2 toll) and cross over to Highway 14. Turn left (heading West) approximately 3 miles. - From Vancouver Washington
Take any access to Highway 14 and go East through Camas/Washougal and Skamania, to milepost 38. - From The Dalles/Hood River Oregon
Take I-84 West to Exit 44 Cascade Locks. Follow signs to the Bridge of the Gods toll bridge ($2 toll) and cross over to Highway 14. Turn left going West approximately 3 miles.

Accessing the Discovery Loop and the Bigfoot Family...
From the city entrance stop sign (first stop sign after turning off of Hwy 14), continue straight ahead and make the immediate left... wind through the small parking area past the community map sign. Continue through the parking area south as far as possible. Look for a “The Bigfoots Welcome You” sign which marks the entrance to the trails parking area.
